  Two out of the three employees there seemed like they absolutely hated being there. Especially the gentleman taking our order (glasses and bald). Zero smiles, cold service - which was quite off putting. Coffee was watery. Our blueberry muffin was okay. Breakfast is cheap though! Don't expect tables to be cleaned until the kid absolutely has to clean them due to people literally piling up in the front.

  Stopped for coffee - which was good. But man, I got a chocolate peanut butter brownie and holy moly was it good. Was my first time to Baddeck, but would recommend it as a stop for anyone visiting.

  Pricing makes sense and for the taste vs price comparison, the are cheaper than the average good food around. Service with a SMILE is not really there.

  We are always happy to have breakfast and coffee wherever we are. But we like to feel welcomed, not like we are imposing on the employees and establishment.

  Excellent Bakery! The bumble berry pie is absolutely delicious! A must try. Scones are moist and not too sweet. Just great. Everything looks wonderful. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Went there twice during my stay. Alexander Graham Bell Historic Site is right down the street as well. Good find!
